TESTIMONIALS
The Estrella Foothills High School Strength and Conditioning program oversees the safe training of hundreds of student-athletes each sports season. Here's why families are choosing to direct their tax credits to the EFHS Weight Room this year.
THE CONROY FAMILY
Coach Clay Bewley was in incredible inspiration for my son, Christian Conroy, and daughter, Cayla Conroy, both graduates of Estrella Foothills HS. Both of my children loved their time at the high school and Coach Clay was a big reason why. Clay has an incredible way with the kids. He pushes them to be their best, while still having a lot of fun in the process. My son, Christian, looked forward to weightlifting more than any other class. He was inspired and challenged daily. By the end of the year, he joined the 1,000 lb. club and was rewarded with a coveted gold t-shirt in addition to being offered football and track scholarships and earning several athletic awards. He graduated in 2019 and still talks about his time in the weight room with Coach Clay as among his fondest memories at the high school. Cayla, my daughter, graduated in 2020 and felt she was far stronger and achieved more skill and endurance due to Clay's dedication to Cayla and her team. She was a cheerleader and dancer, so coach focused on strength, flexibility, and endurance with Cayla and her teammates. Cayla received several athletic awards as well including dancer of the year in part due to Coach Clay's program. Additionally, both Christian and Cayla still use many of the workouts they learned as a part of her own personal fitness routines. They achieved and surpassed many goals in Coach Clay’s weight room, all while using old equipment. If anyone is deserving of new and updated equipment, it is Coach Clay and his program at Estrella Foothills High School.

THE MCLEOD FAMILY
This email is to endorse a Strength and Conditioning Program for the Estrella Foothills High School. My son who attended EFHS for four years, had the opportunity to have a S & C program, which helped him tremendously. My son who is now a Freshman in college playing baseball took advantage of the program and reached several of his goals. Those goals included improving his health and well-being, the development of a growth mindset, establishing unity and teamwork, and nurtured growth. The S & C program has prepared him for Collegiate level mentally and physically. Another attribute that it has given my son is mental toughness on and off the field. On the field, he gives a hundred percent each play, off the field he is a straight "A," student and respects all his coaches and peers.
Overall, it is a must have program. I have seen the benefits of this program and strongly recommend it.

THE POWE FAMILY
Our family is so grateful for Coach Clay and everything he taught our son while at EFHS. While many coaches simply tell kids “ Go hit the weights ” Coach Clay taught my son how to properly lift. Coach Clay taught our son Wyatt using a holistic approach, teaching Wyatt about proper nutrition and stretching. Coach Clay emphasized the importance of cardio as much as weights. Our son started wrestling for the first time in his sophomore year. Over the next two years Coach Clay’s program made Wyatt stronger than ever. He became explosive and had the endurance to last an entire tournament. Coach Clay’s program flat-out works. Wyatt made it to State every year and in his senior year was the 220 pound State Runner-up. I’m most impressed with how coach can tailor his workouts and make them sport specific. Coach Clay can relate to the student-athlete, he develops relationships and he is a positive role-model for my son. Wyatt is in college now but he still leans on Coach Clay for advice. I would highly encourage people to contribute to Coach Clay and the knowledge he shares with our students.

THE SWEET FAMILY
My son attended Estrella Foothills High School and played football, baseball and golf. He spent 3 years in the weight room working with Clay Bewley and this helped him attain a college scholarship at U. Kansas. Seth said once he got to Kansas he realized how important working with Clay was in preparing him for college. The only difference between High School and college was the upgrade in equipment at college. As a parent and ex professional ball player I know the importance of quality coaches and equipment for the development of our young athletes and students. I hope we can upgrade our weight equipment to help more students to reach their dreams.
